Miami Dade EG Roofing Nail Listing Change

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

EG Roofing Nail Listing Change…

Abington, PA (03/16) – Today we received a memo from Miami-Dade County, Board and Code Administration Division regarding electrogalvanized (EG) roofing nails. I have included a copy of the memo for your review. These samples were tested for corrosion pursuant to TAS 114. The results of the testing showed none of the samples tested from suppliers to the market passed the test.  All products shipped into south Florida were not tested so we are working with the officials in Metro Dade to participate in an action plan to provide certainty to our customers that materials supplied by Continental Materials meet the requirements of TAS 114 Appendix E.
